Do you know what today is? It’s World Sleep Day!!! If you’re anything like me sleep is not something you get a lot of so I think it’s an understatement to say that I’m excited about this particular day.
World Sleep Day is annually celebrated and is used to bring attention to the importance of sleep and important issues related to sleep. Currently, there are 55 countries who are participating in World Sleep Day and over 282 official delegates have joined the campaign. The World Sleep Society hosts World Sleep Day and has done so since 2007. This year is the 12th annual World Sleep Day. Issues related to sleep, including medicine, education, social aspects and driving are some of the important aspects that World Sleep Day brings attention to. What is the average amount of sleep you get every night? 8-10 hours or do you get 4-6? I’m guilty of only getting roughly 4-6 hours of sleep. It’s not something to be proud of. Your body needs sleep
Do you get the amount of sleep you’re supposed to? Let World Sleep Day motivate you to learn as much as you can about the important of sleep and actually get some sleep!
