The workout struggle is real! It can be extremely difficult to initiate your exercising journey, especially when you have health conditions or concerns. Often times, people use their health concerns as excuses to keep from exercising or the struggle to force themselves to workout because of the boredom in their workout. Who would’ve thought that dancing and having fun could do so much for you? People think of cardio and instantly think of running miles until they feel like passing out. Dancing is a great and fun thing to do that also promotes your heart health and can help other health issues or concerns!
The hot sun of the summer makes us all want to jump in the pool and cool down. Did you know that your swimming is cardio? Find yourself a pool, whether it’s during the summer or an indoor pool for cooler seasons, and have some fun!
Do any of you miss being on a team and playing a fun sport? Why not get back into it? You can play basketball, volleyball, softball, or even box. The possibilities are abundant!
Cardio exercise is any exercise that raises your heart rate. It teaches the heart how to work more efficiently, amongst other benefits. If you look up “Best Cardio Workouts” a lot of people will tell you to go to the gym and run on the treadmill or use the stairmaster. While these workouts are great, I don’t consider them the best. Sometimes the best workout for you is something you have fun doing. Maybe the best workout for you is one where you don’t even realize you’re working out. Have some fun and keep your body healthy!
