National Women’s Health Week!

National Women’s Health Week!

Did you know that it was National Women’s Health Week? Oh you didn’t? Well it was National Women’s Health Week! This starts every year right after Mother’s Day. This week is used to remind women to take their health into their own hands and make becoming healthier a priority.

What are some ways that we, as women, can live healthier lifestyles? One way is trying to eat clean. Eating clean is eating more whole and natural foods and limiting the amount of processed foods from our diet. So many people think clean eating is like eating like a rabbit but in truth, clean eating can be just as satisfying and more beneficial than eating processed foods. Another way is to start enjoying your exercise. Some people love the feeling of a great hardcore workout at the gym, or of a long run, but some others enjoy their exercise in a different way. For example, going dancing, or doing yoga. Figure out what works for you and enjoy living healthier.

Take care of yourself, beautiful! Let’s try to set and achieve at least one health goal for the rest of May. You got this! To learn more, please follow Black Girl Health on Instagram and our blog.
