Learn How Health and Wealth Connect Through Everyday Life With Nicole Varnando
Most people can agree that health and wealth are two of the most important aspects of life. But do most people believe that they go hand and hand? When someone is in a situation where they are struggling with finances it can cause stress. With stress comes, lack of sleep, lack of appetite, anxiety, and more. On the other hand, when someone is sick, they don’t go to work which can lead to not being able to pay bills or to properly provide for their family financially. One person who strongly believes in these connections is Nicole Varnado. Varnado is a single mom to a beautiful 6-year-old boy who she says is her reason for stiving. She was intrigued by the financial industry due to personal financial hardships and realizing that no one she knew had answers to help because they were all in a similar financial position. When she finally found a financial adviser who helped her tremendously, she immediately knew that she wanted to help others get on the path to financial freedom as well. She is now a Pharmacist as well as a Financial Professional. She got her degree in Pharmacy at Xavier University of Louisiana and used her degree to obtain a pharmaceutical job at Walmart. She is also a member of the World Financial Group where they “give people from all backgrounds the power to become financial services business owners so that every family can access appropriate financial resources.”
Her biography says, “Working in both the healthcare and the financial industries, she has been able to teach and put into practice concepts that help enhance the quality of life for whoever she meets. As a pharmacist and financial professional, Nicole sees the value in both. Seeing how financial issues affect health and how lack of health can drain one’s wealth, she’s taken on the task of being a crusader to spread knowledge. Her goal is to empower all people, but especially black women to take control of their health and finances to give them hope and confidence about their future and that of their children.” She is all about helping others and making sure everyone has the knowledge needed to be successful in both the financial and health aspects of their life. One of her favorite quotes besides “health is wealth” is “regardless of young age its time to stop talking and take action.”
When teaching others about finances she uses a book called “How Money Works” by Tom Matthews and Steve Siebold. As a financial professional some of the services she offers are review insurance policies, educate clients about how money works, how their retirement accounts work, and the importance of diversification. She also helps to make sure clients have enough money along with the right kind of life insurance and puts together a budget, so they know where their money is going every month. Her goal is to be a resource, a person of influence, a contributor to the community, and a light to help others get to the next level in their lives. Taking it one day at a time and aiming to reach as many people as possible. Many people can benefit from her knowledge and experience but some may not ask for help. If you or someone you know could use this information don’t hesitate to share this post or look into getting help from Varnado.
