Remember when you were younger and thought by 25 you would be married with 3 kids a house, car & career working on your second degree? Or remember when you thought you could not live without that person who used to complete you? But look at you living & stuff! Or even remember the time you were sure your Homemade Makeup business would take off and you would be rich but you just ended up staining your carpets & most of the upholstery in your car with melted products?
This week I want to encourage you to go on. Plan A may not work, heck Plans B-E which were also pretty darn good ideas may not work either, but you’ve got 20+ more letters in the alphabet!
Change the plan, if you must, but NEVER the goal!
It’s through our failed attempts that our trade is mastered. If you are showing up in each moment, working with the end in mind and never forgetting that it is attainable you are already well on your way to success. So what if you’re on Plan Q. Stay persistent. How many tries did it take Einstein to make the light bulb?!
As you go forward (even if you’re starting Plan R) remember to keep the end in mind. Each “fail” is just another proven step that won’t work. It doesn’t mean the dream won’t work! It simply means you’re closer to the solution. So release the stress of not already being there & give yourself permission to move on after each “fail”.
