Although they are not life-threatening or cancerous or life-threatening, they can still cause complications and other health issues. It is suggested to follow the Mediterranean Diet by adding fresh and cooked green vegetables, fresh fruit, legumes, and fish to your diet while eliminating red meat such as beef, lamb, and ham.

Additionally, reducing the consumption of alcohol is important as a study found that women who drank one or more beers a day increased their risk by more than 50 percent as alcohol raises the level of hormones needed for fibroids to grow. It is also important to be mindful of balancing your estrogen levels. This can be done with not only birth control but Maca root is a great alternative method. In addition, by losing weight if you are overweight and avoiding access to hormones in foods by eating clean and organic products. Women who suffer from severe migraines typically will also suffer from high blood pressure, although there is not sufficient evidence to support the link, physicians believe it is imperative that women suffering from fibroids, should take care of managing their blood pressure and trying to lower their risk. Finally, ensure you are getting the appropriate amount of Vitamin D which can lower your risk for fibroids by 32%.  You can take Vitamin D supplements or incorporate foods high in Vitamin D into your diet such as:
