Associated with Valentine’s Day is obvious…. CHOCOLATE! A box of chocolate or a big Hershey’s Kiss always seems to make a Valentine’s Day gift feel complete. For those of us trying to live healthier, I have a few Valentine’s Day sweet substitutes that we can try this year!

Dark Chocolate Covered Fruit!

I don’t know too many people who don’t like chocolate covered strawberries. This year, why not try dark chocolate covered strawberries? Dark chocolate is healthier than milk chocolate and still tastes really good. This option is not limited to strawberries. You can try it on any kind of fruit you like!

Yasso: Frozen Greek Yogurt Bars!

Sometimes ice cream is all it takes to fill that sweet void, but afterward, we are left with guilt. This time, how about trying Yasso! These are frozen greek yogurt bars that come in different flavors and taste just like that ice cream treat your craving, without the guilt.

Fruit Salad!

A piece of fruit can be so satisfying, so imagine sitting back with a bowl of fruit salad! Fruit salad is refreshing, light, and delicious. If you want to indulge in something sweet but keep it healthy and tasty this might be your best bet!

I know it can be hard staying away from the sweets that taste so wonderful but do us so much harm, but hopefully, these alternatives can make it just a little bit easier for you!
