EASE YOUR MIND AND BE THANKFUL

Thanksgiving was the day that most people choose to give thanks to loved ones and friends, but what about the other 364 days of the year? Everyday there are multitudes of things to be thankful for; but, as busy as we are, it’s normal to forget to be thankful everyday. Some things may surprise you.

  1. THE FOOD WE EAT
    Traditionally, grace is given over food before every meal. It is a practice we have sadly done away with. Get into the habit of being thankful for each and every meal. Thanking those that prepared it, and may it nourish your body with fuel and positive energy. You’ll be surprised how much better you start to feel after eating.
  2. OUR TEACHERS AND PROFESSORS
    Our college and trade school educators dedicate vast amounts of time to educating us. This time they give could be spent with their families or for themselves; instead, they selflessly give everyday. Every class, take a private moment to thank your teacher.
  3. THE BAD AND TROUBLED TIMES
    These are the times in our lives when we grow and learn, as we develop into stronger women. When we are thankful for these rough times, we find the end goal even quicker. We then are even more proud of ourselves for over coming, raising our self esteem, and happiness.
  4. WHAT WE ALREADY HAVE
    As a nation that has bread to consume, we spend the majority of our time saying, “I want” or “I need” (which most of the time means I want). Do we realize ALL of the things that we already possess? Most of the time no. The next time you really, really want something but it’s out of your cost range, remember and be thankful.
  5. OUR CUSTOMERS
    Many of us own a business or work in customer service. We say, “thank you” many times but how often do we really mean it? Try feeling 100% gratitude and expressing it to every customer and you’ll notice yourself feeling more happy and appreciative. You may even make someone’s day that much brighter
