Christie Champaign: “My Mission is to Connect As Many of You As I Can to Someone that Can Help.”

This week’s Black Girl Health Partner Spotlight goes to Ms. Christie Champaign. Back in 2008, Christie was dealing with unexplained health issues that were impacting her quality of life. She was the classic case of “sick and tired of being sick and tired,” and decided that it was time to reclaim her health and wellbeing.

Through her journey of healing her body naturally, she created Your Health Connect. This movement is all about connecting people with the resources they need to live their best lives. If you are looking for better health, and don’t know where to turn, it’s time to connect with Your Health Connect.

“One day, I got out of bed to get ready for work and I looked in the mirror… I was so tired. I was worn down and so defeated. I was no longer sleeping through the night, my skin had exploded into a terrible case of adult acne, my hair was thinning, I had edema in my ankles and I had begun to have painful and uncomfortable PMS symptoms.

I had gone to the doctor several months prior. I was prescribed antibiotics, sleeping aids, medical creams and pain killers which didn’t seem to be helping. That was the winter of 2008. I was finally tired of my health condition and I was ready to change.

I made up my mind to get well naturally and it has been a journey!

I don’t want anyone to go through the highs and lows I went through with my health. Please join me in my mission to share natural healing alternatives and to connect the community with health and wellness professionals that can help!”

Black Girl Health is excited to add Christie to our roster of health professionals. Be sure to follow @yourhealthconnect on Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube.
