How to reduce the severity of side effects The eyebrow tinting side effects may vary from one person to another. Therefore, it’s important to do an allergy test, by placing a small patch of the chosen tint brand on your...

Now that you know how to heal yourself with breathing and are aware of the many benefits of meditation let us conquer light therapy. Colors have a lot to do with chakra involvement (which I will be writing about soon!). My all time favorites are the use of both white and red candles on a daily basis. White for clarity and healing, red for strength. Using both of these candle colors helps with conjuring a presence that YOU are in control of. Never let circumstance dictate your present, moods, and emotions. Tip if you have...

How To Tint Your Eyebrows (Part II)

Before you begin tinting your eyebrows, it is important to shape your eyebrows, which will involve trimming, tweeting, waxing or threading them a day earlier. It is not advisable to do these things after applying eyebrows tints. Using lukewarm water, and a mild facial cleaner, clean and pat your eyebrows to ensure they are dry. Different manufacturers might have different instructions. Using cotton swabs, apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly like Vaseline on the area around your eyes, but not on the eyebrows. This is to protect the area from brow tint for the case of semi-permanent. Any color that...

While natural is now the "new thing" among many women of color, there are many who want the benefits of a relaxer, but still want the body and thickness that our natural sistas' have. For those that can't quite give up the creamy crack, there has now been a term and technique created just for you: Telaxed.
