DON’T NEGLECT YOUR NAPES

As more and more of us turn natural, we now are trying to undo the years of damage we have done to our hair. As we focus on the most common areas of damage: ends to mid shaft, and good lord, those edges, we often forget about that good ol' kitchen, or nape area. EXERCISE OF THE WEEK: PUSH YOUR WAY INTO SHAPE

Push ups, oldie but a goodie! This exercise forces you to work your core, chest muscles, shoulders, and triceps. It's so empowering to be able to push your own body weight. Practice doing the modified version and work yourself up to a full body push-up. Do 4 sets of 10 repetitions each set, as you get stronger increase your repetitions.
