EXERCISE OF THE WEEK: FEEL THE BURN FOR LEG DAY W/ JUMPING LUNGES

By now you must know that I absolutely love leg day and why not?  It's only the largest muscle group in the body.  Here's a scorcher perform these after your heavy lifting leg day. RECIPE OF THE WEEK: YAMS W/PUMPKINS SEEDS

These yams could be a meal by themselves. I would like to think this is probably one of the healthiest ways to prepare yams.  ENJOY!! INGREDIENTS: 1large yam 1/4 cup pumpkins seeds 1 tbsp dried oregano 1 tbsp dried basil 2 1/2 tbsp coconut oil Sea salt and pepper to taste DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 300F. Cut yams in wedges or chunks.  In a bowl, combine coconut oil, pumpkins seeds, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Add yams use clean hands in stirring up the mixture to make sure all pieces are covered with the mixture.  Spread yams on a baking sheet oil with coconut oil; bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until yams are tender. EXERCISE OF THE WEEK: INCREASE YOUR CORE WITH PLANKS

Why Plank? Planks not only develop functional core strength for daily activities, but it also improves your posture.  In addition, Planks increase upper body strength as well as low back strength. I could go on with the benefits of planking.
