WANT A GOOD WORKOUT – AIM HIGH WITH LEG LIFTS

Here's a fun ending to any leg workout!  High leg lifts force you to work on balance while engaging your core and working your legs. You can do these at home with a low chair or an end table.  Be sure to engage your core muscles as you lift your leg high to clear the obstacle, try to move fast while performing this exercise. Wild salmon with a lemon basil sauce

This is the perfect spring time dish, light and fresh. ENJOY!! INGREDIENTS: 4 6oz wild salmon fillets 1 cup fresh basil 1/4 cup plus 3tablespoons cup light olive oil I lemon (squeeze) 1/3 tsp crush red pepper Salt and pepper to taste DIRECTIONS: In a blender or food processor blend basil, oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, until smooth. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.In a large non stick skillet heat 3 tablespoons of oil, then add salmon fillets cook 5 to 8 min on each side cook more or less until preference. TRIPLE THREAT EXERCISE OF THE WEEK

Finishing strong after any leg workout is like the icing on the cake.  Here's one excellent exercise that will help you finish strong.  This exercise is a triple threat! While you are working your back, you'll also engage your core, and training your legs.  Set yourself up in a low lunge position, making sure your back is straight and your core is engaged.  As you lean forward, row the dumbbells towards your body using your back as you hold the lunge position.  Row for 10 repetitions, switch legs and repeat.  Basically you'll be performing a total of 20 rows (10 per leg) and 30 second lunge hold (15 seconds per leg) Do 3 sets total.  Enjoy your workout!
