Cinnamon May Help Regulate Blood Sugar

Do you have diabetes, pre-diabetes, or insulin resistance?  One of the simplest additions to your diet that may help is cinnamon. Several placebo-controlled trials have demonstrated that cinnamon can help to increase glucose metabolism (how efficiently the body processes sugars) and reduce fasting plasma glucose concentration. Cinnamon can slow the emptying of the stomach after eating, thus helping to control postprandial spikes in blood sugar.  Cinnamon may also help to lower triglycerides (likely because of the positive effect on blood sugar levels), and prevent the formation of damaging oxygen radicals in the blood. Tilapia w/sauté vegetables

Tilapia is a nice flaky and light fish that can be prepared in several ways, why not experience them all.  ENJOY !! INGREDIENTS: 4 6oz tilapia fillets 3 tablespoons olive oil 3 cups broccoli florets 1 medium red pepper (chopped) 1 medium onions (chopped) Sea salt and black pepper 1 tsp garlic power DIRECTIONS: In a large skillet heat oil. Season the fish fillets with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Add the fillets to heated oil and cook for 2 minutes on each side. Then add vegetables and cook to your personal desire. EXERCISE OF THE WEEK: BAND WALKS W/ BICEP CURLS

DARK CHOCOLATE BARK W/ ALMONDS!

Chocolate!  We are now learning chocolate is not bad for us, if it's dark chocolate; this is because of its high contents of antioxidant. Top it off with almonds that are high in protein and Vitamin E,  I would say you would being having A BGH approved snack.  ENJOY!! INGREDIENTS: Canola oil 10 oz bag of dark chocolate chips (at least 60 to 70 percent cacao) melted 1/4 cup of toasted chopped almonds 1/3 cup or less coarse sea salt DIRECTIONS: Lightly brush an 8 inch baking pan with oil. Line with parchment paper, pour in melted chocolate, smooth into a even layer with a spatula. Sprinkle with almonds and sea salt evenly. Refrigerate until set, for at least 1hour.  Then break or cut into pieces. COOK’S NOTE: You can use any nuts...
