EXERCISE OF THE WEEK: BAND WALKS W/ BICEP CURLS

This exercise targets your hip flexors, biceps, and core.  Take any band with the desired strength that would be optimal for your workout, place band under your feet, stand shoulder width apart.  Cross the band to create greater resistance.  Proceed to take 10 steps to your right and 10 steps to your left.  Be sure to keep your legs shoulder width apart during your walk, keeping the continual tension as you take your steps.  At the end of your steps perform the band bicep curls 12 to 15 repetitions.  Try to do 3 sets of the band walks (along with the bicep curls) As always if you have any questions please feel free to contact me at aveigle@hotmail.com SPANISH TRANSLATION: Para aquellos de ustedes que aman la multitarea...

DARK CHOCOLATE BARK W/ ALMONDS!

Chocolate!  We are now learning chocolate is not bad for us, if it's dark chocolate; this is because of its high contents of antioxidant. Top it off with almonds that are high in protein and Vitamin E,  I would say you would being having A BGH approved snack.  ENJOY!! INGREDIENTS: Canola oil 10 oz bag of dark chocolate chips (at least 60 to 70 percent cacao) melted 1/4 cup of toasted chopped almonds 1/3 cup or less coarse sea salt DIRECTIONS: Lightly brush an 8 inch baking pan with oil. Line with parchment paper, pour in melted chocolate, smooth into a even layer with a spatula. Sprinkle with almonds and sea salt evenly. HOW TO GET STRONG LOOKING SHOULDERS

Let's build some nice shoulders for those summer sun dresses! As we are building shoulder muscles let's also make them stronger.  Shoulder muscles are prone to injuries, and they are often neglected.  Here's one way to make sure you are keeping your shoulders strong and looking great!
