Going to the gynecologist can be scary, especially when you don’t know what questions to ask. Here’s a list of important questions you should keep in mind when visiting your doctor:

What birth control methods are there?

There are a variety of birth control methods currently on the market to choose from. The birth control pill is one of the most common options, but finding the right one really depends on your lifestyle. Options like the patch, shot, or vaginal ring are all good alternatives for those who can manage a schedule but don’t want to worry about taking a daily medication. The IUD and implant are methods for women who prefer to be on birth control, but not constantly worry about taking it. It’s a good idea to ask your gynecologist questions in order to gain insight on all of the options they offer and which one would be best for you.

It’s not at all uncommon for women to experience low libido at some point in their lifetime.
