3 Essential Oils to Add to Your Beauty Routine

If you’re into natural beauty and wellness, chances are you know the wonders that essential oils can do for your mind, body, and skin. Although they’ve been used for centuries, it seems as if essential oils are rising in popularity as more women make more conscious choices in their health, daily lives, and yes, their beauty routines. But if you haven’t joined in with adding essential oils to your lineup, now’s the time to start! Here are three we love:

  1. Rosehip Oil – You want to know how to keep your melanin looking fresh and bright? Look no further than this. Rosehip oil is full of vitamin C which works wonders in brightening (and protecting) your skin.
  2. Tea Tree Oil – While most of have been able to kiss the days of blemishes goodbye, the rest of us still battle with the occasional breakout from time to time. If you’re in the latter, tea tree oil might just be your new best friend. This essential oil is loved for it’s ability to fight bacteria and it’s less irritating than most breakout creams and spot treamtments.
  3. Ylang Ylang Oil – You ever come across those people whose skin literally looks like it’s glowing from the inside out? Well, chances are it just might be or it could be ylang ylang. This essential oil is known for helping to give the skin a radiant glow which is why it’s also a popular oil used for anti-aging.

If you’re ready to use essential oils in your beauty routine, be aware that they are strong!  You never want to apply them directly to your skin so make sure you dilute a few drops in a carrier oil like coconut or olive oil.
