3 DIY Face Masks to Try This Month

Oh how we love a good face mask. Whether it’s a relaxing night in where we’re taking a little time for ourselves or we’re giving our skin the extra TLC it needs, there’s just something so luxurious about applying a face mask and letting it work its magic. While there are so many options to purchase from drugstore options to high-end, you can get a good face mask going without ever leaving your house. Here are three DIY face masks to try this month to get your skin hydrated, soft, and smooth.

  1. Avocado Mask – If hydration is your goal this is the mask to try! All you need for this one is (1) avocado, (2) teaspoons of honey, and (2) teaspoons of yogurt. Mix them all together and apply to your face for about 15 – 20 minutes before rinsing clean for nourished, moisturized skin.
  2. Brown Sugar Mask – If you’re hoping to get skin that is baby soft, this is a super easy, two ingredient mask to try. Simply mix (2) tablespoons of brown sugar with (2) tablespoons of an oil like olive or coconut. Apply to your face like you would an exfoliator and rinse clean!
  3. Oatmeal Banana Mask – If your goal is to simply achieve smoother, clearer skin, an oatmeal banana face mask might be perfect for you. Mix (2) tablespoons of oats, (2) teaspoons of honey, and (½) of a banana until it reaches a paste like consistency. Apply this to your face to help smooth the skin and combat the bacteria that causes breakouts.
