Hey Sis! I hope that your days are flying by, and that you are manifesting a life that you love. So if you followed me on my journey last month where I tried keto for a week, then you’ll know that I’m going on a cruise at the beginning of next month. And let me just tell you I haven’t been doing the things I need to do in order to get some weight off (don’t judge me sis). The good news is that overall I’m pretty happy with my body, and i’m starting to believe I may have a bowel problem more so than a weight problem. My biggest issue is the belly area, and that could be fat, but it seems to be more so bloat and what I like to call “bowel back up” (TMI I know). I don’t tend to go regularly most days and that contributes to a big belly for me
So why a Juice Clense?
Well since I will be eating like crazy on the trip, I thought I’d do a fast to shrink my belly a bit before shipping off. I decided to do a juice cleanse simply because the reviews were saying people were losing like 10 pounds after the 5-days. Now I know thats mostly water weight, but it works in my situation since I only need to look good for a couple of days. I don’t recommend doing something like this without consulting a doctor first, or if you are looking for sustained weight loss. However, if you just want to look good on the beach for a couple of days then I don’t think it could hurt.
How does a juice cleanse work
The Juice cleanses are difficult, and I’m going to have a much harder time than I did, even on the keto. The Juice cleanse is with NO FOOD, just pre-made juices and water. I havent yeat decided if I want to DIY it or order some online, but I’m considering ordering with how busy I’ve been. When you order them they come frozen and pre packaged already. They give you a schedule nd usually you drink one every couple of hours or so. I think the first couple of days are going to be tough so the plan is to keep myself busy so that I’m not constantly thinking about being hungry.
What do you expect?
Well I’m not expecting a ton of weight loss. I’m looking more so to reduce the amount of bloat I have and to lose maybe a pound or two. I am expecting to be really hungry as well, because I love food, and also because I have been indulging for a little while now. A lot of the reviews said that they got headaches, which I may also get from caffeine withdrawal as well. I’m starting it this weekend, so on Tuesday I will write about how it turned out. I chose the weekend because I didn’t want to have a long list of things to do, since a lot of people say you’ll need a bathroom close by and may experience fatigue.
